Orbit Homes appoints new Regional Managing Director for the Midlands
Orbit Homes has appointed Brian Nearney as its new Regional Managing Director for the Midlands.
The appointment sees Brian take on responsibility for Orbit Homes’ operations in the Midlands, in addition to his current role as Orbit Homes’ Regional Managing Director for the South.
Commenting on the expansion of his role, Brian said: “Orbit Homes is an award-winning developer and is at an exciting stage in its growth, so I am delighted to be able to help lead its drive to deliver more well designed, affordable and energy efficient new homes, as well on its regeneration plans across the Midlands and in the South.
“As part of my expanded role, I will be focusing on growing our development pipeline by investing in new land opportunities as well as successfully building on the existing schemes we have such as Micklewell Park on the outskirts of Daventry, which will see us bring forward an exceptional collection of over 450 new homes built to our all-inclusive design and surrounded by beautiful rural landscapes. By continuing to build new, thoughtfully designed and tenure-blind developments that cater for social rent, shared ownership and market sale customers, we can deliver real positive impact throughout the many communities where we develop.”
Helen Moore, Group Director at Orbit Homes, added: “I am delighted to confirm that Brian will be heading up our operations in the Midlands, alongside continuing to lead our team in the South. Brian has been a real asset in leading the team and driving the delivery of affordable, future-fit homes in the South and I’m confident that he will continue to drive both regions forward with the same enthusiasm.”
Brian will oversee Orbit Homes operations across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, and Bedfordshire, as well as Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey and South London boroughs.
Part of the Orbit Group, Orbit Homes shares a socially driven, commercially minded ethos, working with social enterprises to derive even greater benefit from our investment and reinvesting our profits to improve the quality of our homes, our services, and our communities.
