Our place to call home at Savant Court, Lichfield

Meet Stuart and Eloise, who bought their first home aged just 20 and 19.

The young couple lived at home with their parents but dreamed of owning a place of their own.  They had already started saving for a deposit, and when baby Zara came along, their search for a new home started in earnest.

They discovered Shared Ownership, a scheme that allows you to buy a share of a new home and pay a subsidised rent on the remaining share. They would need a smaller deposit than if they were to buy outright, as it’s based on the share that you buy not the full market value, and this appealed to the couple.

Their search brought them to Savant Court, a small development in Lichfield, with a range of brand-new 2 & 3-bedroom houses and apartments.  As well as being near to their families, and within walking distance of the city centre and amenities, when they first visited the development, they fell in love with it.  The couple chose a spacious 2-bedroom apartment, impressed by the high specification and standard inclusions such as integrated kitchen appliances.

Stuart says: “We love everything about our home; the layout and the amount of space we have, and how modern it is”. They’ve had lots of compliments on their new home from friends and family, so Stuart and Eloise are certainly home proud!
